New engine at a cost of $55,000 in this great Tiffin Phaeton. The EGR manifold leaked antifreeze into the engine and destroyed it. The new engine was installed by Rush Peterbuilt along with filters, belts and hoses. The starter , alternator, tires, [ Michelin,} chassis batteries and living room television are all new.
The only time this coach sees sunlight is when we are camping, it is kept in a climate controlled building. This has been a really great unit until the EGR failed.
I have had two Tiffins and think that they are one of the best units built. I did purchase an extended three year, 150,000 mile TRANSFERABLE warranty on the engine through Cummins. We are selling to get a bigger coach. No smoke or pets. All of the updates were done by Tiffin at Red Bay, Alabama. The generator has less than 150 hours on it. I’m also giving the Tire Minder system with it so you never have to check the tires with a gauge. This unit is totally loaded and has just about everything except solar.
