2015 Winnebago View 24G Class C RV 3L diesel engine. The coach has approximately 90,000 miles on it and the engine around 20,000. In 2023 we experienced a catastrophic failure of the engine in Tennessee. The engine was replaced by Knoxville Mercedes-Benz. This RV is in excellent condition, and everything is included to start traveling immediately. Perfect for boondocking with the addition of a roughly $7k solar and battery system. 570 watts of solar panels, a 300amp Epoch lithium house battery, an automotive DC to DC charger for maintaining the house lithium battery during engine operation. A three-way transfer switch was installed in the coach eliminating the need to go outside to unplug the shore power and plug the power cord into the generator plug. During a torrential Michigan downpour, the park lost electric power. Prior to the upgrade I had to go outside, disconnect from the park electrical power, plug into the generator powered outlet in the electrical bay outside, and fire up the generator to restore power. It was pouring outside. Needless to say, I didn’t have power for the remainder of the thunderstorm. Now, with the flip of a switch inside there are four options; shore power, generator, invertor, or off without leaving the coach. It comes outfitted with an i10 Tireminder TPMS.
Just completed the service level B in June by Mercedes-Benz of Grand Blanc that included an oil and filter change, cabin and engine air filters, fuel filter, brake fluid replacement and brake pad inspection.
Extra brand-new backup 1000watt inverter (I had it replaced only to learn later, and too late to return, that it was covered under warranty, the company sent me a new one that is now a spare) plus a backup water pump, and spare kitchen sink water filter.
Also included is a 16,000 grain portable RV water softener, external RV dual water filter system with a 5-micron filter followed by a .5-micron filter, an RVGuard adjustable water pressure regulator with pressure gauge, a 12.5’ telescoping ladder, a Little Red Campfire in a Can propane firepit and an Ozark 15” collapsible stainless steel smokeless wood-burning firepit with storage bag, also an Old Country Tabletop charcoal BBQ grill with a 3’ x 2’ collapsible table.
RV also comes with two fairly new sewer hoses, two white potable water hoses and standard hose. A 30amp Voltage surge protector/monitor for use with shore power pedestals, and a 25’ 30amp RV extension cord providing the ability to park ~50’ from the shore power source.
Inside the RV a 10-piece removable-handle pot and pan set (2 each), 4-place plate and bowl set, silverware, and Coleman collapsible camp oven I’ve used to made pizza on the stovetop. There is a built-in standard convection microwave oven if you’re not up to the adventure of a stovetop oven. A perfect-for-boondocking drip coffee maker with k-pod capability is included. The pot on this model is insulated metal and doesn’t require a power-consuming warmer plate.
New remote-controlled ceiling vent fan in living room, new MaxxAir vent cover for bathroom vent, foil bubble insulation cutout for all windows, indoor/outdoor wireless thermometer, new TV’s bedroom and living room capable of streaming, dedicated 20amp outlet in kitchen that plugs directly into park shore power. Swiffer power mop with refillable cleaning fluid container (I was able to remove the cap, so now it can be refilled or you can buy the pricey proprietary non-refillable and disposable soap containers) and a small 110v vacuum cleaner.
The camper has an inside propane hose access for using a portable buddy heater such as a Mr. Buddy while the larger tank remains outside per the heater manufacturer’s recommendation, outdoor carpet, bed linens for the queen size bed, new low-consumption shower nozzle, and a Ring camera for pet monitoring.
